I thought I would start a thread for all of us Shoreline Community College Part-time applicants for Fall 2018.
I'm currently on the waitlist for the Spring 2018 full-time program, but if I don't get in then I plan on applying to the part time for fall. I'm sitting at 104.85 points and it seems like the part-time program usually has a lower minimum point requirement so I'm hoping that's enough to get in!
If anyone has any questions about the application, feel free to ask me. This will be my third time applying to Shoreline so I feel like a pro at this point :)
Hi Khinze, have you heard anything from the office yet? So far I know there are least two people in front of me on the wait list according to this post.. She said she would contact the alternate list people yesterday or day when I turn in the form on this Wednesday ..
Sharen said she would call today and leave a message but she called and no message, she called twice and I missed them one at 10:03 and 10:15. I have been trying to call back but no luck. If I don't hear back by 2:30 I will stop by.
Did you hear back suewang? I am Sending positive vibes your way. You have until September, plenty of time to be notified if you got in, hopefully sooner than later.
Thank you! This is my 4th time and I am beyond overjoyed and relieved. Maybe they ran out of time today to get more calls out. I thought she said she would call to let us know where we stand on the alternate list. I think they were in meetings and lunch from 10:30 to 1:30..? At least they were out of the office then. But like I said it's early! I didn't expect a call to be in until orientation so I'm rooting for you guys and hope you make it!
Just got a letter saying I'm the 3rd alternate for fall quarter!! khinze, since you already got accepted does this mean I'm second? I sure hope so. Can't wait to start preparing!!!
Does it say when they sent out the letter? I got the call Friday and they sent me an acceptance letter as well that just came today. So if they sent it Friday I might not have counted on that list..? I would call. But number 3 is awesome considering all the applicants were considered. I hope you get in! There is still so much time to be notified! Good luck!
It says the letter was sent out the first of this month, what's the date listed on your letter? Hopefully I'll be called sometime before 13th. Regardless, you should PM me and we can chat!
Yes that would be Friday, that's when mine was sent out too, the acceptance. So I don't think I am considered on that list. I hope you are called before then too!!!
