Nursing Students CNA/MA

Ok i take my state boards on saturday 3/19 and on my card it says to wear flat non-skid footwear. what would be the best shoes to wear?? Just regular tennis shoes?

what did you guys wear?

We had to wear all-white shoes (and tennis shoes OK). Apparently they still think it's the 1960's and so the nurses and us "orderlies" are supposed to wear white.

Our school requires us to wear white shoes or white sneakers/ navy scrubs during Clinical.

As long as they are clean, not torn, I would think you could wear white sneakers. Unless you had a pair of white shoes for school.

I always feel more professional when dressed appropriately and it seems to carry over when in school and hopefully if/when I also take the State Exam. :)

Ok well looks like tennis shoes are cool, so im going to wear those. thanks ladies!

:yawn::yawn:I do not know of any specific shoes required by a board. My school part of the tuition package was the uniform and white shoes. I did have a injury during work in the shower room and I would think if any shoe - it would be a non-skid shoe(sailors wear them -but how comfortable and light weight are they?). Sorry I can't help more.
