SHOES: Are Dansko comfortable?

hello, i'm new to the forum.

what is your favorite shoe and why?

i was wondering what shoes are the most comfortable.

i have heard that dansko's are well made and very comfortable.

i would like to purchase a quality shoe.

if you don't like dansko, what shoes do you wear at work?

I love my Dansko's I have many pairs and have been wearing them for about 15 years. I have worn clogs all my life and like the flexible sole the best. I also go to a store and try in pairs. They are hand made - all natural glue etc, so I might by a left from one box and a right from the other. I also wear Sigvaris or Mediven compression stockings during my shift as I stand most of the night and sometimes sit on that rare break.

I have tried Klogs and they're okay, my feet burn. Crocs give me shin splints. I have a pair of MBT's that I like - but only if I've had enough sleep the day before. (I'm a night nurse). The MBT's made me feel dizzy the first 4 hrs and then it took about 5 shifts to feel okay.

Hands down, Dansko's win the day.

After all these wonderful reviews, i am planning to purchase a pair of danskos. But can anyone tell me what the difference between the narrow and regular fit for the dansko professional white shoe is?(http://www.comfortshoesny.com/professional-white-box1.html) and has anyone ever ordered them from comfortshoesny.com? I just dont want to exchange them and go through the entire hassle.
