Members are discussing the timelines and experiences of receiving job offers after interviews at various hospitals and departments, sharing information about interview processes, application statuses, and asking questions about specific units and hiring statuses. Some members have received offers, while others are still waiting to hear back or have not received any updates on their applications.
Just wanted to start a thread as this residency opened today for externals. Internals was on 11/12.
Good luck everyone!

You have a lot of experience so I'm sure you'll get it. I talked to some ER managers and they said they really focus on the experience! They love the techs and EMTs. I actually have the questions they asked for grossmont & memorials ED new grad interview if you want it! I got it from some new nurses that were in the ED since I used to float to all the Sharps
Any info is definitely helpful

So instead of the application title it shows the unit and cohort/full-time then where it used to say under consideration, yours says referred to hiring manager?
You sound like a great fit for ED! I hope you hear soon.
May I ask how you are getting your TNCC and CEN? I thought you needed to be an RN with a certain amount of clinical hours as an RN in trauma ED or ICU to sit for it?

For the CCRN yes, you need 1750 hours. The CEN recommends two years but is not required. The coursework is good for a year through BCEN. The TNCC has no requirement and to be honest is a lo,t of what I already have dealt with in EMT school so the curriculum is very familiar to me.
