Sharp New grad RN program 2021

Hello 

I wanted to start this tread for Clinical Nurse - RN, Sharp HealthCare Nurse Residency Program (New Grad Program)-110929 at Sharp Healthcare application starting in the fall 2021.  

 

I applied last week, hoping to hear back soon. My application status just says under consideration.

They are preparing for the next surg and predict the nurses are going to go out of ratio. Extenders are basically CNAs with an RN license, you do CNA work and sometimes pass meds

So is this a temporary position or do you transition to the new grad program after the surge?

Well the new grad program is at chula vista or mary birch and the extender program is at grossmont

has anyone done an interview for the extender program? can you tell me how was it and was there only one person or more interviewing you?

I got any email for identity identification but when I click on the link says "Page cannot be displayed" did anyone else have that problem.

I did and when I called the lady just checked my application and said the recruiters have it and that everything was good so IDK??‍♀️

I got an interview for the nurse extender new grad program and when I asked what it was specifically they told me after we work as extenders we transfer into their new grad program where we get what all other programs offer. But that’s specifically for the one that says “extender new grad.”

Which department did you say you were interested in? Were you an internal applicant?

I said PCU and yes I’m internal

No but I received the email last week and have been contemplating on rather to apply or not. I currently do not reside in san diego so the sept 9th start date is really soon. I’m an external applicant

did you have an interview with them already? where did you see 9th start date?
