Sharp New grad RN program 2021

Hello 

I wanted to start this tread for Clinical Nurse - RN, Sharp HealthCare Nurse Residency Program (New Grad Program)-110929 at Sharp Healthcare application starting in the fall 2021.  

 

I applied last week, hoping to hear back soon. My application status just says under consideration.

“….Sharp Grossmont is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates who already have received their RN license. We're looking for New Graduate Clinical Nurses to work as Extenders to start on September 9, 2021. The details are provided below ..” 
 

& then it began to list 2 tele floors, and one ED position. I applied with my RN license already as well as tele as my first choice

Oh interesting. I did not apply for the tele position so I guess that’s why I didn’t receive that email.

What exactly is the extender position? Is it a regular new grad position or is the role different?
