Hi, I applied to Surgical Ortho. I received an email for self-indentify; however, when i clicked on the link, it was expired. I called HR and I couldn't reach them as all ( I think majority of them set up automatic voicemail to avoid talking to many applicants). Is anyone facing the same problem? Thank you!

Like the self identify at the end of the application? Were you not prompted to do that right away?
I applied to ER at Grossmont!

DC resident here!! I applied to Sharp Grossmont Surgical Intensive Care Unit!! I thought it was so annoying that I could only pick one unit. I also applied to Scripps and didn't hear a peep so I'm hoping SOMETHING pans out!! My dream is to move cross country but I can't do that without a job.

Hey! I was wondering what the self identify thing is? I don't think I did that. Was it in the application itself? Now I'm panicking

@pinkEagle Hey I just moved from DC area too! I dont know how true it is, but it seemed to me they barely look at people with addresses so far away. It is alot of peoples dream to move out to cali so I feel like they do not take cross county applicants seriously. (i could be wrong) but as soon as I put a San Diego address out there I started getting feedback. I used a friends address as soon as I figured out my MD address was holding me back and I ended up with two interviews! Good luck hopefully they dont hold the DC address against you but just in case for next time maybe borrow a friend or family members address out here!

I also applied to Memorial PCU....uh oh, looks like it was a popular choice! Wish I could have applied to more than one!!
I think what onebeatrn262 is talking about is the self identify questions that is at the end of every application you do (for any job). they ask you your gender, race, veteran, disability status, etc.
Oh my gosh thanks for clarifying! I thought it was one of those personality tests or something that I completely missed!
Ya no problem! Unless I didnt get one either! Hahah
Yea i dont think i reached the self identification part Were you able to do it right after the application
