Sharp New Grad Residency 2018

Hey Everyone! just wanted to get a page started where we can help each other out while we wait to hear back from Sharp! Good luck to everyone!:)

Hi MurseEmjay,

I interviewed with Sharp back in February but was not offered the position (I am not surprised because I was not expecting the call and did not have time to prepare because I took the NCLEX two days prior). Is this interview for the next New Grad cohort? I applied again so I was just curious if they are starting interviews.

This interview will be for the next cohort. Which starts in November. Care to share how your interview process went? What questions were asked? I'm hoping that you get a second interview! Praying and crossing my fingers for you!

Out of the last 6 interviews Ive had that was by far the most comfortable interview. It was professional but everyone was down to earth which calmed my nerves. I was in a conference room and there were five on the panel interviewing me. They all had the same paper with questions that were clearly developed by HR and some of the interviewers were seeing the questions for the FIRST TIME! There were probably 8-10 questions, all behavioral. Tell me about a time when.....basically every question I have been asked since then.

After it was finished they said I would be hearing in the following week. The next week they sent me a request for references and then the following week I got the email that I was not selected.

Hello,

I have a question.. Did any of you apply even tho you had not taken the NCLEX yet? for example, I will be applying THIS october 2018 but I do not take the NCLEX until November...

Did this affect your process at all?
