Applications open in October for Spring 2024
Hello everyone,
I received an email on 11/13 with the title "Do NOT be alarmed: your application has been received for the Sharp HealthCare Spring 2024 Nurse Residency Program: I moved your application to what I call a Ghost Requisition specific for Sharp Memorial 1st/preferred unit selection (mirrors the SHC application)” and some information included in the email. Before I send an email asking Sharp about my status, I wanted to ask group if anyone else has received this and/or if anyone has heard anything since receiving this email?
Also wanted to add, my Sharp Workday currently says "Clinical Nurse RN Sharp Memorial Nurse Residency Program Cohort 45 FT N Ghost Requisition attached to SHC Evergreen requisition JR 143147" under consideration.
Thanks!

I received the same email and my application says the same thing as yours. I reached out about 2 weeks ago and they told me that was correct and means our applications have been sent to Sharp Memorial for consideration.

Honestly I don't remember everything that happened haha. Mine was with an 8 person panel though. Some of the questions I do remember were why nursing, a conflict with a patient/family (not a supervisor/coworker like I was expecting), a time you took action without waiting, and 5 year plan. Definitely prep for other generic interview/behavioral questions too! Like constructive criticism, etc. There's an old Sharp allnurses page that has some more. Hope that helps! Good luck!
