Hey guys, I might be out of town in the beginning of August but I am worried because it seems like that would be around the time that they do the interviewing process. How flexible do you think they would be with me if I got called back for an interview? Or do you guys think I should I just try and find a way to stay in town during that period of August?

I think maybe they'd do virtual - I know other hospitals do because there are people that apply out of state!

I think you can tell them that you are out of town if you get an offer and if you have access to Zoom or the internet, they could do a video interview

For those of you applying from out of state- when do you graduate? Because I am hearing it could take 15 weeks to get your license, and that we can only apply for the CA license up to 2 weeks before our grad date.  I graduate in August so IDK if I will be able to be considered.  Also, does anyone know if Sharp takes interim permits?

I am technically out of state but I moved to california June 1. I graduated out of Michigan on May 7. I applied and paid for pearsonvue prior to graduation and then I applied for licensure to get my ATT on May 12 because that's when I got my transcripts. I received my ATT May 26 and took my test May 28. I did my fingerprints late because I was getting settled after moving but I got my license on June 15. So my licensure was by exam and not endorsement - I don't know if that helps but that's the timeline I had!

Thank you so much! This helps a lot ?

Got an email saying I'm no longer under consideration, this sucks. But good luck and congrats to those that move on in the process!

That sucks! What unit did you apply for? I hope you find some other good options to apply to!

So sorry to hear that! I wish hospitals were more transparent about their review, it seems so random ? Stay persistent and best of luck to you - sending blessing your way!

wait joking, that was from a while ago...I just read it wrong ?‍♀️ welp, thats embarrassing.

No don't worry! I'm glad you are still in - this waiting process is so stressful, sometimes I'll see old emails and my stomach will drop too! Well with that good news, what units are you looking to go for at Sharp? ?

That's awesome! Is your background in PCU and onc? I did SICU as my #1 and MICU as my #2!
