Sharp New Grad Program Summer 2019

Hi all, just wanted to start at thread for all those applying to to Sharp Healthcare's summer new grad program for Grossmont, Memorial, and CV!

The application is supposed to open up tomorrow (2/18) at noon and I would love if all of us who are applying can keep each other updated ?

I emailed the OR educator directly since I hadn't heard back in so long. No interview invitation, no rejection letter, nothing. Then she told me they actually already selected their candidate. I'm guessing it was someone internal, maybe from their unit. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! I hope you hear back from your other unit of choice!! I interview tomorrow with the unit I work for. Fingers crossed for the both of us.

Hey guys! If anyone has heard anything from sharp grossmont please let me know!! I'm still waiting on cardiac pcu... this wait is excruciating haha

@cnq414 I have a friend who's waiting on them too, I think. Are you internal? Try emailing their educator to see if they've sent out notices yet. What other unit did you apply to?

I'm external.. I wish I had access to the educator's email address! I also applied to memorial med-surg. I've been "under consideration" since feb 21st. I called a recruiter sometime in march or early april and I was told they haven't looked at my application yet, but now I'm getting nervous!

Gotcha. Hang in there! Sometimes the status doesn't match up with what the hiring managers' activities really are... I think that's because the New Grad listing that we all applied to is different from a regular listing. Because 1200 applicants all for the same listing are getting split up between all the different departments/hiring managers. If that makes sense? Lol! In other words just be hopeful! Is what I'm trying to say ?

Was it ortho/neuro med-surg at memorial?

Thanks girl! I'll be putting out positive thoughts for all of us! I don't believe so, it was just listed as adult services - medical surgical

Damn. Not surprised! All good. I got hired onto my unit, will be starting the new grad program in August. I hope you get good news on your end as well!!
