SFSU NURSING BSN Spring 2022

Hello!! I haven't seen any threads posted for San Francisco State's Spring 2022 nursing program, so I decided to make one. 

My stats are: 3.75 GPA, 80% TEAS, 7K hours of CNA and MA healthcare experience, and bilingual. 

Super nervous because I didn't do well on my TEAS ☹.

I’m assuming that SFSU does like a secret point system?

Do you know if they look at your overall GPA or just the prerequisite classes?

They only discuss prerequisite GPA when stating the minimum qualifications on their website, but honestly I’m not sure.

I feel like it's both?

ugh my overall GPA is not impressive so I hope not

I wonder if there’s someone we can call for more information about that. I’m curious now?.

The past 2 years that I've been finishing my pre-reqs I've been in touch with my undergraduate counselor at SFSU and she's been asking the school of nursing questions that I had but she kept telling me how they don't really answer the questions about the admission process and they just tell her to refer to the website ;-; They're like crazy secretive about it

Yea it's my first time applying! I really hope I can get into Spring 2022 cohort ;-; one of my friends started the same time as me and she got into Fall 2021 so crossing my fingers for Spring! I hope we call all get in that would be so awesome!

Do you guys think we will hear back sooner since they didn’t do interviews?? I sure hope so! My anxiety is through the roof! ??
