SFSU NURSING BSN Spring 2022

Published

Hello!! I haven't seen any threads posted for San Francisco State's Spring 2022 nursing program, so I decided to make one.

My stats are: 3.75 GPA, 80% TEAS, 7K hours of CNA and MA healthcare experience, and bilingual.

Super nervous because I didn't do well on my TEAS ☹.

Good luck everyone!! ??

I think last Spring admissions were sent November 5th ????

Hi! I just found this website and thank you all for your info!! I also got an 80% on my TEAS, 4.0 GPA, and have volunteer experience as a public health intern at a LGBTQ+ nonprofit. I did work in a gynecologist office as an office assistant, does anyone know if they will count this as healthcare experience? Thank you!

I believe that it will count! Did you submit a healthcare or volunteer form?

Yes! I did. Although some of the other schools like Chico State did not accept it as healthcare hours, so I was nervous. Did any of you also apply to USF?

I believe the LGBTQ+ public health is great health care for your application. You have great stats! Good luck to you ??

Just a heads up…I emailed SFSU this morning and they’re still saying decisions will be sent mid-November. Doesn’t seem as though the absence of interviews will speed the process up, but we’ll see! Hoping for the best!

Darn, I guess I’m going to commit to Samuel Merritt. (The deposit is due by 11/7) ?

Specializes in CNA, MA.

Well SMU is a great school, with an awesome simulation lab and many hospital partnerships! Congrats on getting in there!!

Right! Im hoping that was more of a generic response, but IDK. This nursing journey has me so lost RN.

They probably short on staff or a lot of ppl are applying!

I agree, they might be short on staff which may explain why they didn’t do interviews. Uuuuuuggggghhh! Congrats on CSUEB btw!
