Is anyone applying to the SFSU nursing program this fall? how are your stats looking like?

Have you checked your e-mails yet? Just got a notification! I got wait-listed spot #37! WOW finally after all that waiting! I'm pretty surprised I even got wait-listed based on my stats.

Anyone else hear back? If not check your e-mails!!

Yes, I'm applying for regular BSN...Maybe they only sent email for waitlisted people today....Haven't heard from them might be a good sign, volleygrl89

Dear Mary:

We received more qualified applications than we have space for in the BSN program during the academic year 2013-2014. You have therefore been placed on the

wait list for admission and rank number 52

of 118. We will be in touch if a space becomes available for you.

Meanwhile, plan to read the Wait List FAQs and return the Wait List Response form directly to the School of Nursing. If you have outstanding prerequisite course work, please be advised that official transcripts verifying completion with a minimum grade of C must be received by the SF State Office of Undergraduate Admissions no later than July 8, 2013. This is required to maintain your wait list status.

In the event a space does not become available, dedicated, eligible students are encouraged to reapply during the next application period. Although you’ve been placed on our wait list, you may be admitted to SF State under your selected alternate major for fall 2013. A separate notice concerning alternate major status will be sent from the university Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

The wait list went up to #62 last year! Fingers crossed that it goes that high again this year! I am so incredibly anxious, words cannot describe it! Should I be excited or feel defeated?!

For all the people who got emailed, are any of you part of the Sequoia BSN program or the SFSU program. Im freaking out over here that they are sending emails. I have yet to get mine :/

So if you are waitlisted, does that mean if you do get in, would it be for Spring 2013?

I'm just wondering if its worth staying on the waitlist or not....

I'm #37... I doubt if I get in it will be for Fall.

Thoughts? Harsh truths?

I also haven't heard anything. Do any of you wait-listed folks mind sending your stats (GPA, TEAS, etc)? I'm curious to know if I have a prayer or not.
