SFSU ELMSN Fall 2017 Cohort

Hi Everyone! I did a search for SFSU ELMSN Fall 2017 and I didn't see any active threads so I thought I'd start one. This is my second year submitting program applications, first year to SFSU. I graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Management in 2012 and have been working for the past 4 years volunteering, prepping for entrance exams and completing prerequisites for a variety of nursing programs. I am hoping this year will be there. I'm also applying to Samuel Merritt's ABSN program, USF's Masters program for Non-Nurses, University of Hawai'i's GEPN program and Johns Hopkins University's MEPN program. I'm not sure if we are allowed to discuss it or if interviews are still scheduled, but that interview was a bit... different! How'd it go for you guys?

Hello, just doing some research to prepare for my interview and found this forum. Does anyone know what types of questions will be asked, and if this is a group or single interview, and how many applicants are invited to interview.

Does anyone have any idea how long interview offers go on in previous years? Very nervous...

I decided to check myself on past posts on this board and it appears that those interviewed are offered spots one week after the interview process. Also, it appears there are one or two late interview applicants, a week after the first. There is definitely a waitlist, too.

Im not too sure if there were additional invites for interviews. But decisions should be out the 2nd or 3rd week of April.

I feel sure that Robert Strachan said that we would hear by the end of this week. I've not heard anything yet. I interviewed on April 6.

Should be this or next week! Nervous, I think my app is strong, but I felt like the interview did not go as well as I hoped. I thought it was hard not having much time to speak! Good luck all.
