SFSU ABSN Summer 2021

Just finished my application and will be taking the TEAS in a few week. ?

I haven't been able to find much information about SFSU's ABSN, so I look forward to this thread.

I'm applying soon, thanks for making this! I just have to re-take the TEAS since I didn't do too great the first time. Does anyone know if we have to have the TEAS results attached to our app? Like we can't send the TEAS scores after submitting the app?

TEAS scores need to  be attached to the application

Pre-req GPA 3.63
Science GPA  4.0
Last 60 GPA 3.9
TEAS 84%

Worked for 2.5 years at a hospital as a practice assistant and 1 year at a doctor's office as an assistant taking vitals and helping with treatments. Don't have much volunteer experience ? covid kind of ruined my plans this year to do more.. I'm also pretty nervous about my TEAS score not being competitive enough but this was the second time I took it. No second language either..

Hi everyone! 

Applying soon, but not really feeling optimistic because COVID ruined my chance to retake on science course this fall 2020. Anyway, here are my stats: 

Science GPA 3.4

Pre req GPA 3.5

Last 60 GPA 3.8 

TEAS 82.7% 

Health care experience: 2000+ hours as an EMT

Still planning on retaking my TEAS before submitting my application, so I am hoping that will increase my chances.

TEAS Will Update When Taken

I only have 80 hours of volunteer experience which I know really hinders my application since they only count 120+.  I am planning on killing the TEAS to boost my chances but I am not the BEST test taker!

I haven't applied yet. Only because I'm debating if I should retake the TEAS.. but really just want to get the application over with ha

I know we have to submit two applications (through Cal State Apply and NursingCAS) but I can't seem to find SFSU's ABSN program on NursingCAS. How did you guys submit your supplemental application/documents?

Did you go on Add Program tab to find it? It's named:

Summer 2021 BSN Accelerated - CSM Campus 

San Francisco State University.

Retaking my TEAS really close to the deadline so I'm hoping I'm able to pull it off. Anyone heard how their change in admission process is impacting this cycle? Now that it's only open for second bachelor degree applicants, I'm assuming there will be less people applying..
