Feel free to post any updates, info, or questions you have regarding the seton RN residency July 2016!!

I submitted my application about a week ago!

I have an interview this week for the ED and ICU and the recruiter said it would be a panel interview!nightinglade Was yours like that? do you have any advice???

Hey guys, glad everyone is so excited! I have loved working at SMCA and went through their critical care residency so I thought i'd chime in. All nurses wear Navy. No brand restrictions, no embroidery needed. My favorites are the grey's anatomy ones which makes me cringe to say it but they are super comfortable. The residency is amazing and you will feel so prepared when it is time to be on your own. I was choosing between two options out of nursing school and decided that I needed the residency and it was one of the best decisions i've made. Also, their residency program earned national accreditation last year so it will always be a feather in your cap to have that on your resume. Good luck, enjoy yourselves!

Hello! Since you all have already been in the orientation for roughly 3 months, can anyone please tell me what their experience has been like? Specifically at Dell Children's?

Hello, I have just submitted my application to Seton a couple weeks ago for the Feb 2017 cohort. I am planning on going to the open house in a couple weeks and was wondering if you guys could give me some insight on how long it took after you submitted your application to receive an interview and subsequent job offer! Thanks!

Hi! I just wanted to reach out and see if anyone on here ended up doing the July 2016 residency.

I just applied to the July 2017 cohort and I wondered what people who have done it thought of the program, the amount of pay, and when they heard back about interviews and application status.

I spoke with HR about 2 weeks ago, applied to all of the pediatric residency jobs at dell, and saw that all of my applications are under review!

Any information helps!

Best,

Kiki

How were you able to apply? I don't see anywhere to apply on their website.

Hey girl, I received an offer at seton for their neuro/ortho unit at $24/hr but I decided to go with st. David's residency. Sorry I cant help you out with your other questions!

You apply online. I usually searched for Seton residency or clicked on the nurses link on their site. I know for the February cohort the link to apply didn't show up until about 2 or 3 months before the cohort started though but they still had a little information about it and told you when to look for the link and sign up for open house

I went through the seton Residency Program in June 2014 and I highly recommend it. I also still work for Seton, in the specialty that I started in (surgery). I'd be happy to answer any questions about the residency, Seton in general or surgery.

Also, Seton has a referral bonus that I'd be willing to split with someone 50/50, just use my name on the application (Michelle Ogorzalek). Email me for details [email protected]
