I applied in September but haven't heard a thing, yet. I will attend the open house next week. From what I've heard it is highly competitive with an upwards of 1000 applications for a limited number of spots. I'm convinced getting an interview is pure luck. I also applied at St. David's but they immediately denied my application because I live out of the area. Hopefully we hear something soon!
I was getting nervous about Seton because I haven't heard anything either! Maybe we will after open house! And I'm sorry to hear about St. David's. The south Austin location immediately denied me but I've had luck getting an interview at the north Austin one. Did you apply to all of their locations?
Oh okay, understandable. I'm trying to move back home to Pflugerville with my parents for a few months until I can afford my own place somewhere in the Austin area. I currently go to school at UT Tyler & I am not working so I'm going to need some help when I 1st get out! Lol But just making sure, you didn't hear anything about a part II of the application for Seton either right? I've read on other forums that they received an email for part II shortly after they applied..
I think the phone interview is informing you if the units you're interested in are hiring and to see if you want to make changes in regards to your top specialties and working locations and possibly to set up a live interview?? Emphasis on "I think" lol but yeah I haven't received an email for part II of the application either. I hope this process won't take too long. I'm starting to receive more interviews from other places but I want to work at Seton the most

Hello. I have recently submitted an application to the Seton residency program for the Feb 2017 cohort and I wanted to know if anyone else is applying right now or if a past applicant could give me some insight on the program & application process. Thanks!!
