Seton Hall CNL program- Fall 2016

Published

Hey All,

Just wanted to start a thread about Seton Hall direct-masters CNL program. The only thing I could find on this forum dated back to 2014. I'll most likely be attending this program in the fall and I'm reaching out to see if there are any former CNL graduates that could give me some advice. I'm very iffy about the cost of the program.. and also the workload during the first two semesters. Do students end up dropping the program due to poor grades? Is it worth going? I read somewhere that the program is over 100k?

Thanks so much for your help!!

Hi Vicki089!

i just recently got all my bloodwork done for the titers so im uploading my results. Yes exactly, you can upload and scan... They may want you to get blood work to test all the titers still though either way. I know I don't have record of tetorifice for example so I'll just get another one soon, as for PPD, I had two done last year a week apart for a job so I just recently got the blood work done for it instead and that should cover me but I also uploaded my PPD results from last year with the blood work results.

I called castle branch customer service a few times to get questions answered as well. So if you want to be positive that everything will satisfy I would give them a call too. I always like to double check lol.

Wow I never got that email. I've been in talks with the school since this morning. I feel slightly overwhelmed I have to catch up asap. I never got the email with the piratenet login information. I logged in for the 1st time today. I am bummed about the scholarship deadline on the 1st. I was looking forward to applying but I missed it. Anyhow, you guys have been instrumental in me finding this information out so thank you all. I'll get started on them immediately.

Oh no I'm so sorry that happened to you! Once you read through all the clinical clearance stuff and register to castle branch, it's not that bad! It seems like a lot but really isn't. I scheduled a blood test this month for check for all my immunities and titers and August 1st I scheduled my psychical and tb 1st step test. Not sure about the drug test bc I have no info on that yet! But I know it's one of the ones that is yearly so she suggested waiting till the first week of August to do it so we don't have to do it 3 times in the two years. Let me know if you have any other questions, I feel like I could lecture on this bc I have reread it so many times and emailed so many questions!

Thanks so much! I just made an appointment for my blood test to test for the immunities, rather be safe than sorry and cover all my bases. I scheduled my ppd test for the first week of August 1 at my psychical and the check for 2 days later. Not sure what the step 2 is that needs to be done 1-3 weeks after? I think I will call castle branch about the drug test bc they haven't sent me anything yet and I'm becoming impatient!

Vicki089

no problem ! As for the ppd yes you do the second one at least a week later I believe. Just can't recall if it was one week or 10 days after. I think mine was 10 days.

Mans the drug testing... I recall clicking that area in castle branch but also think there's info possibly in the email on that site regarding drug testing. I think it may be the time we set up online then go to a specific place for it. Try checking your messages on there and see if there's info.

Yea I can't lie that was a major turn off and the person who helped me was just making it harder than it needed to be but still no apology or extension for the scholarship deadline. I'm going to email the program director about this. Nonetheless, I'll start the process in the morning and get the ball rolling.

Hi everyone,

We're almost there I hope you're all well and enjoying this summer! I'm finishing up my clinical clearance requirements. I was wondering for those of you who have either shopped around or purchased what companies did you look/go with? Right now I'm leaning towards Mercer. Any suggestions or comment are welcomed.

Hi! Good to hear from you, I'm almost done with my requirements too, just saved a few for the first week of August that are the yearly requirements. I went with proliability and purchased the 2 year option for $80

I see I'm right there with you. I cant wait!!
