Hi I just wanted to start a thread for those who applied to the Seton residency July 2017 program. Has anyone heard anything ? I attended the open house on February 10 filled out my applications on the 12, the recruiter emailed me on the 13th for a telephone interview and I've scheduled it for the 20th.

I went through the seton Residency Program in June 2014 and I highly recommend it. I also still work for Seton, in the specialty that I started in (surgery). I'd be happy to answer any questions about the residency, Seton in general or surgery.

Hi I will be working at Seton Round Rock in the October cohort. Can anyone give me details on what the first few weeks look like? Are we taking classes? Did you start 12 hours right off the back? Is there some type of orientation for residency nurses we have to attend etc? how often do we meet up? I'm just trying to get an Idea of what it will be like. When do we actually start working with patients?

Hello, I am applying for the Nurse Residency cohort that would start this July 2018. I was wondering if any of you were from out of state and unable to attend the initial open house? How do you go about applying if you are unable to attend that? Thanks for your help.
