Congratulations to Mom and Daughter!!! WOOHOO!

My NCLEX journey.
I had 27/75 SATA questions (yes, I kept tally marks on my white board, lol) and I felt like they were easier than Uworld. The ones that weren't the answer were pretty obvious, imo. Also, I had 2 SATA that I picked all of the answers. I wish there was a way to know if I did so correctly. Oh well, doesn't matter! I PASSED!

Passed NCLEX-RN in 75 questions the first try...you can do it!
Congratulation!!!

PVT... Is this the "good pop up"
Yes. That is the good pop up. Worked for me. I tested June 8. 75 questions. 27 SATA. Got my official results on the BON website today. In addition, it has worked for 5/5 of my classmates so far. 5-6 more are testing today. Congratulations!

Responding to annoying co-worker who asks you to work for them every week?
Don't apologize, just say "No, thank you". I get calls/texts a lot to work extra and if I can't, I just say "no, thank you"... like, hey, thanks for offering but not today. Kill em with kindness.

Ok Class of 2017, Where are you??
Anyone else at Austin Community College? We have orientation Aug. 20 and start classes Aug. 24. I just spent 2 full days looking for a rolling backpack. I narrowed it down to 2, so I ordered both and will keep the one I like. Amazon loves me right now. Good luck everyone!

5 of my friends from Nursing Skills got letters today. I'm so happy for them. I hope I get one after some of the deferrals.

I thought Nursing Skills was going to be super hard but it is really pretty easy. Just study the learning guide and the skills sheets and you'll do fine. The practice activities are almost identical to the mastery check-offs, so make sure you can do those efficiently.
