I thought pathos was a graduate level course, at least when I was looking into it. I don't recall seeing any BSN programs that had pathos, but I certainly didn't look into all of them. Hopefully someone else can help you out here. I know I'm not worried about not taking it at this level.
You could take the pathophysio course separately at a local college/university. My CC offers it as an elective option for nursing students.Hi,I've posted in the online degree forum about this issue, but wanted some feedback from those of you who chose OU. I love everything I've read about this program, but have one concern, and that is that there is no pathophysiology requirement. I attended an ADN program that did not include pathophysiology, so I don't have it on my transcript.

Hi,
I've posted in the online degree forum about this issue, but wanted some feedback from those of you who chose OU. I love everything I've read about this program, but have one concern, and that is that there is no pathophysiology requirement. I attended an ADN program that did not include pathophysiology, so I don't have it on my transcript. I'm definitely considering advanced practice options but still am not sure what those might be (making a career transition into nursing and still unsure of where I'd like to land).
I love the benefits of the OU experience (brick and mortar university, reasonable fees, five week schedules, etc.) but I'm wondering if I need to be worried about the lack of a pathophysiology requirement.
Was this a stumbling block for any of you who chose OU and do you plan to fill in with patho somewhere else? Am I worrying too much about this one?
Thanks for any input you can offer!
