September test takers

Published

 Are there any september test takers? I am scheduled for the 9/9 for the second try.

I started studying the day that pvt took me to cc page. I had to tell all that I did not pass but everyone is supportive. I have studied all over the place. I bought lots of books because I was so unsure of what to study. I contacted my school because we had ati so I was able to get a vati. Still unsure about what I'm studing but I do know that I know way more than when I went in to that test the first time!

KRN 2010,

Would you please be kind as to share your notes? [email protected]

THANK YOU!!:D

I am scheduled to take the NCLEX 9/14.

Took it in July and found out I did not pass, but i believe I was not prepared for it because the NCLEX questions were completely different from exams from nursing school and the HESI exit exam.

Took KAPLAN review course beginning of august and have been studying ever since... my qbank scores range from 54~74. I noticed a gradual increase in my qtrainer as well as my qbank scores.

Diagnostic: 59, QT 1: 63, QT 2: 59, QT 3: 56, QT 4: 63, QT 5: 67.

I've been writing down all the questions & rationales of the questions i got wrong. I refer back to these notes and they have been helpful learning tools. I am SCARED TO DEATH... I have a job lined up and I can't believe i blew it the 1st time. i have exactly a week left to prepare myself...

I need something to tell myself that I'm going to pass. I WANT TO BE AN RN MORE THAN ANYTHING!!! It's so frustrating because you go through all the work of going through nursing school, finally graduate, then theres ONE MORE MOUNTAIN to climb over... and you know you're so close you can feel it.... :(

I took my ati predictor today and scored 60 after studying since i did not pass i July! This gives me an 80% to pass. I also have Kaplan and have redone the first two trainers with a 72 for 1 and 59 for 2. That was depressing! I have about two more weeks to study and also am scared to death. I am going to review the complete med/surg book now!

How did you do?

Trick definitely works! The Pearsonvie website still says my results are not available but I looked up my license on Dept. of Health and there it was.............Glenn...RN! I passed in 79 questions!

I would suggest focusing on the practice questions more so than content which worked for me. Good luck!

I understand your frustration - and fear. What I did was state several times out loud every day "I pass the exam." Walking in to take the test - be confident - approach each question that way and you will pass. Focus on the solution and not the problem and you will succeed. Now go get your RN!

hi everyone , pls could send me a copy @ [email protected]. 10s a million

To ALL September test takers who already passed.. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF YOU!!! :yeah:I'm so proud of you guys.. I'm always a big fan of test takers who passed because you already made it to the last step.

and to those who did not passed Don't lose HOPE!!! Focus and always think positive!!!

Good luck to all test takers! I know u can make it!

BTW, I'm also a September baby. Took the NCLEX last Sept 3. I've never believed that I'd passed since I did have lots of prioritization, few SATAs (2-3 i think), 1 math...

Then when I tried the PVT, I got a good pop-up. That lessened my anxiety but still couldn't afford to celebrate until I found out my name in my BON's site. I'm so happy!
