Sept 2016 RPN Programs

Hello everyone!

This is my first post. I was curious who has applied for September 2016? What schools you applied to? HOAE experience? Also wanted to know if anyone knows expected avg cutoffs for sept? I've applied to Mohawk, Fanshawe, Algonquin, Niagara, and Conestoga. Have the obvious nerves about if my grades and HOAE grades are high enough. It would be nice to know others are freaking out too! :)

I applied to Mohawk and Sheridan. I live 5 minutes from the Mcmaster health sciences building, so Mohawk is my first choice. The open house is this coming Saturday, so I expect offers will be out this week. Last year at the open house they asked the crowd who already had offers and a bunch of people raised their hands. I've now gone from checking five times a day, to checking every five minutes!

Thanks xokw, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions once all the offers are out. I'm 90% sure I'm headed to Conestoga in the Fall.

I applied to Mohawk too but I know my avg isn't high enough to even be considered. Best of luck to you! Keep me posted about your progress. :)

My acsis still says application in process...

I did get a unusual email from them saying Email Recall with AC-HPAT Results. Something about technical difficulties I am assuming I've been waitlisted but they haven't confirmed. Has anyone got an actual offer from Algonquin?

Maybe there's hope then.

I've heard through the grapevine that if you get "waitlisted" at Algonquin the chances of getting a offer is slim just due to the proximity of other rpn programs available in that area. Hoping that is just a myth!

I did receive an offer on the Ontario colleges website and my acsis account showed "accepted"

Went to Mohawk's open house at Mcmaster University today and was told by the RPN admissions people, that first round offers won't be going out until next week, possibly the week after! Arghhhh, more waiting.

Heard the same. More than likely at the end of the month.
