Sentara BSN 2018 applicants

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone! I'm noticed there hasn't been a Sentara 2018 applicants post on here yet. I'm just curious if there's anyone else on this website who applied for the BSN program starting in January?

Best of luck!

Congratulations! I got an exceptance email as well! Yay! My email said the same thing and I was confused also. I called and they said that is the BSN program. I'm so happy the waiting is over!

My gpa was around 3.56 and my TEAS was 87% but I got waitlisted. I asked what number I was on the list and I was told they can't disclose that but I'm in "the top half."

Woo I got in! Congrats to everyone else who did also!

Adaivi, There's still hope for you though! A lot of people drop within a 6 month time period

Yes mine said traditional and lpn as well. I believe it just means it's the same program.

@Nurseuback2health You're welcome. The program is great but it is a LOT of work. Patho is a very tricky class (I had to take that my first semester, not sure if the order of the classes is staying the same because I heard some changes are being made) My class did not have a clinical our first semester. I will be doing my first clinical in August on a med/surg floor (1 day a week for 10 hours + 4 other classes that will require me to be on campus for 2 days a week - some people have their classes spread out so they have a clinical day and 3 on campus days)

Congrats to all that got in! If you got waitlisted do NOT give up hope. I have heard of multiple people that came off the waitlist that are in my class now.

Hi everyone! Is there anyone who didn't receive an email one way or another regarding admission? I got the email last week regarding the delay, but nothing today

Let's not lose hope!!

Hey I sent you a friend request because I wanted to message you a question about your schedule! Even that little bit of info helps me out so much since I have no idea what to expect. I found Sentaras curriculum on their website and I think we take patho first semester unless they do change it for 2018.

@alexandra_iris I accepted your request but I don't think it will let me use the private message feature because it says you have to have made 15 posts to use it.

My first semester I took five classes and was on campus 2 days a week. The class itself was divided so people went at different days/times. Like some had Tuesday/Thursday classes, some wednesday/Thursday.. etc.

what are ya'lls gpa's and teas score when you guys got accepted??

Ugh I just figured that out! Sucks we can't message. Do you remember when you found out your schedule or if you got to pick the days? I'm a nanny so I need to give my boss atleast 2 months notice to find a new nanny (I work evening shifts) or work out a new schedule and I was worried the orientation or class schedule wouldn't start until a month or so before Jan. Thanks for your help!!
