senior citizen in pre nursing needs help finding grants or loans

Hi i am taking pre req courses at a com.col. and cant seem to get much info on help for seniors it seems we are not taken seriously about becomming an RN and needing fin. asst. NEED HELP

I haven't started looking for scholarships or grants yet but hope there are some just for older students. I missed the financial aid cut off for the community college I'm going to attend - it was back in May and I decided recently to go ahead and do this - so will look for next year. The pre-reqs I'll take before then I'll just have to pay for.

Yes - it's not just the 20 yr olds who need financial help - if you're going for a second career, as I am - I have so many household expenses that a younger person probably doesn't have - could use some financial help.
