Hi! Just starting a thread for all students applying to the SSC/UCF BSN concurrent program for Fall 2011. Best of luck to you all!
Now that the application window has closed.. does anyone know how many people ended up applying?
When I turned mine in on Wednesday, I was #150.
You guys are making me even more nervous that I'm not going to get accepted.
My pre-reqs aren't done yet, but they told me that was fine since they'd be finished before the program started. My program GPA is 3.6 and my TEAS score was 78.7.

Wow! I guess there are always a lot of applicants. Which prereqs are you still finishing?
I am going to finish Statistics and Chemistry this semester, so I went ahead and applied.
My program GPA is 3.4, overall is 3.5 and TEAS was 78.8%.

Don't worry. It all depends on the applicant pool. You still have a chance of getting in. I have seen other threads where provisional acceptance is offered pending completion of the nursing prereqs. :)
BTW to everybody, I included a letter of recommendation from my Microbiology teacher (I totally soared in that class). Just curious, did anybody else include a letter of recommendation? I called both SSC and UCF to make sure it was okay to include a letter.
Hi pina :). I did not include a letter of recommendation. When I was at the ssc info session, they said they would not review any resumes or letters or anything other than the documentation that was required. I wish they would though. :)

I'm in Stats and A&P2 now, and taking Chem over the summer, all of which they told me was fine. I'm trying to look at this as "if I don't get in, that's fine since I'm really not supposed to be able to apply," but I know I'll still be crushed.

I was also finishing up and got accepted so don't worry about that. I am in my first semester... Get ready for a ride!! If you need any help, let me know... I will see you around the campus... Good luck to all.
