Hi there! I dropped my applications off Wednesday morning and was #6 at the SLM campus. :)
Welcome pina and momtojayandbre :) I was applicant #41 at the altamonte spr. campus. Is this your first time applying?
Yes, this is my first time applying. I also applied to UCF's Basic BSN program.
Same here! You should subscribe to the UCF Fall 2011 Hopefuls thread.

I applied this afternoon at the Altamonte campus. I was number 106! I applied for the concurrent program. I also applied for the UCF nursing but I don't think i'll get into that. My GPA is 3.8 and my science GPA is also 3.8 and I got a 86 on the TEAS V. What are all of your GPAs and TEAS scores? I'm just trying to get an idea if I even have a chance! Good luck to all of you!

Hello ladies!! Welcome to AllNurses.
I am in my first semester of Seminole State/UCF BSN concurrent program,
so I was in your shoes last August when I put my application.
My GPA was 3.8
and my TEAS score was only 77.5 %
Some of the other girls had GPA as low as 3.4
but higher TEAS scores
It took about 6 weeks for them to respond - and you will know you get accepted
if your envelope is large 8x10
3.5 GPA
88.3 on TEAS V
They look at date of completion of pre-reqs first, then GPA, then TEAS scores (as a tiebreaker). Pre-reqs finished in fall 2010.
Fingers crossed!
RNunderconstruction - Thanks for the info! :)
I finished my pre-reqs spring 2010, 3.6 overall GPA, 3.8 pre-req GPA, 80 on the TEAS V.
I have a 3.8 gpa, 84 on the teas and I finished my pre reqs Fall of 2010. This will be the longest 6 to 8 weeks of my life!! Good luck to everyone
