So I am currently off for the weekend and catching up on work in the house and garden. I was of for 6 days a couple of weeks ago due to an attack of acute diverticulitis. I was at the point of physical exaustion and really quit caring for myself as I got caught up in our own Covid surge in psych.

Where am I going with  this? Well I was supposed to take a month of in May of last year to travel with my son as a high school graduation gift. Needless to say that hasn't happened so I decided to takea month off in February. I asked for it a long time ago so it's all approved and I really need the down time.

The garden in coming along nicely and I just purchased a self polinating apple tree to go with the lemon, and avocado trees I already have.  Now I just have to find a place to plant it.

Good for you, OP!  I'm finally getting a weekend off this week.  I will be working in my garden too. Also, I will be meditating and taking me time. ?

I've been working on meditating as well. I have been able resume running/jogging and just restarted training for a 10K. Too frickin' cold here to be out in the garden for more than an hour at a time. So I've been doing clean up and pruning, a little at a time.

Clean up and pruning is very relaxing.  I also feel so accomplished after 1-2 hours, 1/2 a day, or a days worth of work! ?
