Hi Everyone!
I'm starting this topic for those who are applying to 2nd-entry programs, to start in 2014.
A bit about myself:
I'll be applying to University of Ottawa and University of Toronto.
Graduated with a Social Science degree from Ottawa U w/ 7.2 CGPA (aka 3.33 on 4.0 scale, or a B+)
A lot of community involvement in health promotion, youth counseling programs, women's health research..
Currently taking the prerequisites...
I'm kind of nervous about the applications because I know how competitive these programs are... Any advice from current 2-year BScN students would be great!
Let's get this thread going
Btw, when you check your application status on the Humber website, on mine, they note down my high school math and science grade but didn't put my grades/avg from university in the 'Our requirements' section. I'm wondering if this is the norm for others too? I'm worried they haven't got my uni transcript in yet!

I don't think you should be worried because the same thing happened to me and therefore I called in check. They have received my transcripts but nothing shows yet on my srs. Hope this helps :) You can also call them to check.

Thanks! that does help. I did email Humber about it too. I also submitted by application on Feb 1st, so I will have to wait it out.
Congratulations! that's great news and so early too! Would you mind sharing your GPA stats ( for your last 5 FCE's )?
Hi Talstar,
In my last 5.0 undergraduate FCE's, I had an 85% average, but I also have a 4.0 in my Master of Education at York University, so I'm not sure if that had any effect.
HenleyGirl, did you apply to Ottawa as well? any news!? im getting anxious
I feel your pain, Isla88. Keep checking my emails! I just want to know either way so that I can start planning the next few months of my life!
In other news, I'm writing my final exam for BIOL 235 in 2 weeks! I'm happy to be almost finished, but these last two weeks will be quite intense as I've only just started Chapter 25!
