Hi Everyone!
I'm starting this topic for those who are applying to 2nd-entry programs, to start in 2014.
A bit about myself:
I'll be applying to University of Ottawa and University of Toronto.
Graduated with a Social Science degree from Ottawa U w/ 7.2 CGPA (aka 3.33 on 4.0 scale, or a B+)
A lot of community involvement in health promotion, youth counseling programs, women's health research..
Currently taking the prerequisites...
I'm kind of nervous about the applications because I know how competitive these programs are... Any advice from current 2-year BScN students would be great!
Let's get this thread going
Congrats to you all! Fantastic news :)Alright, I'm going to post the FB group # (616358161784559) ...I hope I'm not breaking any rules.
Replace that number in any FB group of yours and see if it comes up. >_
What tricky page to find haha. I finally found it using your directions above and requested to join the Group. I wonder why it doesn't come up like the 2014 class does? Makes it difficult for our future classmates to find it!

I know! And it's an open group too, I'm glad you found it. It was a little awkward being the only group member. Maybe it'll become searchable once a few more people join and FB would recognize it.
Hi everyone! I just got accepted into Queen's AST earlier today! I'm really excited, but I'm still hoping to get accepted into UWO (I seem to be in the same boat as everyone else here).
I was born in Ontario, but have been living in Alberta for pretty much my whole life. I can't wait to move back to Ontario!
Hey everyone! I GOT INTO TORONTO!!!!!! I just got the email this morning and i am superr excited to start in september!!!!!! Toronto was my first choice and i had applied last year and made it on the waitlist and this time I GOT IN!!! Never ever give up!!! i am currently finishing a coursework masters that i started after my 4th year. My average of my last year of undergrad was not that great, it was about 77-82% depending on how they calculated it b/c i took a course overload and few of my courses were worth more than half credit. All my prerequisite marks are A or A-. I have experience working in research labs during my undergrad and now as a masters student. I have volunteered in the hospital with elderly, with stroke survivors and various places on campus during my undergrad.
Everyone still waiting, don't loose hope ever! You all will get in! Just be patient and keep all your fingers crossed! GOOD LUCK!!!!
I look forward to meeting you all in September!

I am in the same boat as you! Does a deferral increase or decrease our chances of getting into UWO or not? I'm so confused
Are you in the process of finishing your degree as well, and perhaps in the middle of completing a pre-requisite? If you don't mind, could you share your stats with us? Thanks in advance!

Congrats!
Mine says the same thing (although my Trent admission status got updated to 'Offered - Accepted Elsewhere' since I accepted UWO's offer)
