Seattle University BSN (Transfer) Applicants 2014

Hi everyone, just wanted to chime in again even though we have about a month until we hear back. Hope everyone is staying as positive as possible. I think I'm so nervous because of the anticipation and the fact that I've been at this application process for almost two years now...But it's almost like this forum is a form of therapy because it's nice that we can talk to others who are walking the similar journey in aiming to become a nurse. At this point, if I could get into any program I would be so thankful. Continued best wishes everyone and hope we all hear good news in a couple of weeks!!!!

Husky - I know exactly how you feel! I'm a repeat as well and I will also be very happy If I could just get accepted into one of the programs i've applied for. Best wishes to you and everyone else! =)

I wish they would tell use already. I need to figure out what classes I am taking next quarter. UGH so frustrating lol

brooke - i feel the same way, there's classes i'm taking for nursing schools that I might not even get into.. hopefully like you we hear back maybe during spring break so we can switch classes out!

In looking back at a previous email I received around last month from one of the admissions office members, she said that decisions should be sent out around early March, which should be now??!

I know I received a reply from a forum member on page 5, saying that we would be notified around last week of March. So I kind of don't know what to think now.??

Has anyone heard anything else? Thank you!

When I called last week they told me the end of March to early April.

I know they are probably going to be annoyed of my questions, but I just had to send the Admissions office an email, as I thought it wouldn't hurt to see what information they could give us in regards to releasing the decisions. I will keep you guys posted as soon as I receive a response, but otherwise, if anyone else hears anything please let us know as well. Thank you!!

Really?? That's interesting, do you by any chance know the name of the person you talked to? Just curious if its the same person or not since the information is obviously different... Well, either way I will post whenever I get an email response.

I have no idea who I talked to. I just called the nursing department and asked the person who answered the phone. Please let us know when you hear back form them!

I received the email from Admissions. She said that they are completing a final review and hope to release decisions in the next couple of weeks.

So Brooke I think you were basically right. But at least we kind of have an idea where they are.

Husky, they probably thought they would get to it by early March but of course the process is hard and took more time I guess haha. Thanks for doing a second follow up, hope we all hear good news!
