I didn't find any threads on Seattle University BSN for Fall 2014; just wanted to know who else is applying!

Are you a transfer student?

Yes, I believe I applied as a transfer student for the Fall entry bsn program. I have a bachelor's from UW, and I was a bit confused as to what status I needed to choose to apply, but they told me to apply as a transfer.
They hold about 5 spots for the traditional bsn program.

Yea it's hard to get in as a transfer unfortunately =( priority is to SU students..
When you say there are only 5 spots for transfer, do you put post-bac in the same boat? I am actually post-bac, I got my bachelor's degree from another college, and I am now applying to Seattle U. Either way thank you for your help.
Yes unless you applied for the accelerated program.

SU actually has 75 slots for transfer students. They are in a separate class from the regular SU pre nursing students. Hope that eases your waiting stress! Source: accepted in 2012.
Hmm that's weird because I spoke to a nursing advisor and she said about 5.
But 75 is better than 5! Can I ask how your grades and gpa was?
I know SPU only accepts 5 transfer students. I had a 3.95. I ended up at UW instead but SU is an amazing school.
I have applied at UW too. I have a good gpa, 40 hrs volunteer work and over 2000 hours working as a LPN. My only worry is I'm finishing up A&P this quarter and taking O Chem next quarter. I had a great recommendation letter and essay. I wouldn't be worried if I had all my sciences done.
oh I remember you armynurse from UW 2012 haha. I was just a visitor but I followed that post constantly. How did you like the UW program?
