Seattle University APNI 2015

U.S.A. Washington

Well, I know it's early.

Anyone applying for 2015 start?!?

I haven't posted to this thread yet... but I won't be attending SU's APNI program this summer so there is another FNP spot for someone! :)

Don't lose hope, badabing!

Has anybody on the wait list heard anything yet?

@lindsayonthego...I called them Tuesday.... AGNP is completely full with students who have paid deposits. :-(

:-( Thanks for the update. I was going to call them today, but that answers my question.

Just received my admit letter in the letter, I will joining everyone in June for CNM!

Sorry..I misquoted myself. When I called this week in regards to AGNP, there was 1 spot available, and waitlisted admits received invites that day.

Got asked off of the waitlist last week for FNP. I was told before hand that I was 4th on the list so it looks like there is a lot of movement.

Are you accepting, EV6692? Congrats!!!

I am waitlisted at my top choice school so I am accepting my spot until I hear back from them. Hopefully I hear soon so that if I am accepted some one else can have my spot! Trust me, I know how miserable the waiting game is.

Hi everyone,

I know this thread is old, but I thought I'd try anyway! I'm hoping to apply to Seattle U's APNI (for community health) this year to start in 2016. I only have four of the prereqs completed... (missing the Anatomy and Physiology 1&2, Micro, and Psych). My bachelor's GPA was 3.9 and I have 2 years worth of public health experience... I'll probably be able to knock out at least one class more prereq by December. How screwed am I for admission?

I'd appreciate any advice you guys can give me!

I don't think that you're screwed at all! Your stats look great! It's probably in your best interest to get the micro or an A and P class done next so you can show them how well you can do in "hard" sciences. Best of luck! You sound like a great candidate!

Hi Everyone,

I have a BS in a non-nursing field but my GPA is slightly below 3.0. I have taken some post-bacc classes and my GPA is really high. What are my chances of getting in? Does anyone know the average GPA of those getting into the program?
