Seattle U - APNI 2012

Anyone already applying at Seattle U? Which track? I haven't finished my pre-req's, so I am probably not too competitive this year, but I am going to apply anyway. I am applying for the nurse-midwife track and my background is Microbiology (UW).

Well only one person from FNP has had their status change (same with adult/gero) so I think it's still too early to get discouraged. I think the Midwife faculty are just ahead of the rest of them.

+1 on that. I'm nurse-midwifery, Christy. Waitlist is still a huge feat for FNP, esp if this is within your first years of applying. We really don't know until we know, ya know?

Lenin, woooohoo! Congratulations - that's an accomplishment you should be really proud of. You're so lucky - at that point I think if i were in your shoes i would be floating in the air with lightheartedness.this is exciting! Christymel, every place is different. SU doesn't seem to have as much of a system in place as other schools do. Like everyone said Lenin's status hasn't changed...its not surefire and we're all trying to read into something that appears to be mostly based on how quickly they get to your file. Don't lose hope yet...I know how you feel though since I don't even have waitlist options.Calinca, I'm nannying and have been at school all day. Plus I live all the way down in Federal Way and thinking the mail wont get to me for another day or two...ughhhhh. I came on here to check on your status though :).Sending everyone an e-hug and keeping my fingers crossed and saying a prayer for us all.

Christy, Im FNP too and my status didnt change :-( So I am right there with you........any other FNPs out there who's changed? Murse...so excited that your news is coming and probably great news at that!!! I guess I just have to hope it changes tomorrow!!
