Anyone already applying at Seattle U? Which track? I haven't finished my pre-req's, so I am probably not too competitive this year, but I am going to apply anyway. I am applying for the nurse-midwife track and my background is Microbiology (UW).
My status has also changed to "Decision will be mailed as soon as possible." Calinca, I agree that it is too hard to tell if these statuses mean anything regarding acceptance, denial or waitlist status based on last year's thread. I am applying to the Public Health track, and I think I may be the only one on here for this track, so we shall see...
Obsessive mail checking has officially begun!
I love how supportive everyone on this site has been! I truly hope we are all part of the 2012 cohort because I think we would all make an amazing cohort! Positive vibes for all of us and post as soon as you hear! I have all resorted to the coping mechanism of "Well, that saved my $100,000+" if I don't get in! Positve thoughts. Positive thoughts.:)
Ekkk! Feeling more like:confused:
The wait is killing me! So much for focusing on my last week of class!
Guys!! The statuses dont mean anything! When I talked to grad admissions they said once the decision has been given from the nursing department grad adissions changes your status to mailing asap and that she says by the next business day it should change to "mailed". It is only a timing thing nothing else....I am sure you all will have good news! excited to start reading acceptances.....for me I am still waiting on a status change :-(
From the other schools I applied to, the order that people heard were accepted first, then waitlisted as they struggled to decide who to waitlist and who to actually reject. Then waitlist/rejected were notified last. So if you had an answer this quickly it probably means you were an obvious choice for acceptance.

NursePrac, sorry I'm freaking out! It's been the roughest year for me...this has been the light at the end of my tunnel. I'm trying not to read into it it's just really hard not to...You're right though, let's try to get through these next couple days.
