Seattle U APNI - 2010 Entry

Published

I was just wondering if anyone out there applied for Seattle U's APNI program. I thought I'd start a thread because it doesn't look like there is one, yet.

I think we're supposed to hear about interviews sometime soon. Has anyone gotten word, yet?

Hi Aurora, Which program did you apply for? I didn't realize some were longer.

Hello all:)

Hope everyone is doing well. I had an interview last week for the FNP/Midwifery track. Just wondering if anyone knows when we are supposed to start hearing back? I have been anxiously checking the mailbox the last couple of days...it's rather pathetic :-( Anyway, good luck to everyone!

I believe I remember being told by the interviewers that we'd know our fate sometime in mid-March so it's not necessary to check your email so vigilantly at this point. Hopefully, we'll find out sooner than then because waiting is no fun. From previous posts, it seems that they were still interviewing applicants last week so I expect it should probably take them at least until early March. They had a lot of applicants this year. Good luck.

Hi everyone,

I actually just finished my phone interview (I think they're still interviewing into next week). The interviewers told me that we should hear about acceptances the second week of March. They had 293 applicants, they're interviewing appr. 130 and they can accept 50. Good luck to everyone!

I got my letter of acceptance today! :) :yelclap:

I'm so thrilled! This is what I've been aiming towards since summer of 2008. The letter comes in a large white envelope from Graduate Admissions, not Nursing. At my interview, they said they would send out acceptances at the beginning of March, so I was not expecting to get this news today.

OMG! Congratulations!!! I know you must be ecstatic! :-) What track did you apply for?

Thanks, MPHGirl. My track is Psych.

malapata, I think Psych may be the longest--11 quarters over 3 yrs.

Congratulations, Aurora!!! :w00t:

Congrats Aurora!:)

Congrats Aurora! When did you interview?

I guess everyone will be waiting for the postman/woman everyday now.
