Applications for the Seattle Children's nurse residency open up on May 3 and the OR residency application opens sometime in April. I have been working towards the OR residency, but I am applying to both because I am dead set on moving to Seattle and Seattle Children's is my #1 choice.
I have loved watching people on here talk throughout the application process, get hired, and start making their moves! I would love to connect with people who are applying to either the OR or the regular residency at Seattle Childrens and other Seattle area programs!

I’m also applying for Fall in hopes for PICU or Peds CICU. I’ve been working in the ER at a level II trauma center at a Children’s Hospital in Louisiana as a nurse tech for the past 2 years. I did my senior preceptorship on a Trauma Neuro ICU and had my ICU clinical rotation on a Heart & Vascular ICU. I’m applying to a couple other hospitals too! Crossing my fingers for everyone!
Hi! I’m so glad someone started a thread. I’ll be graduating in a week and being a NICU nurse is my dream! Seattle’s children hospital is in my top 3 dream hospitals so I thought I would give it a shot! Best of luck to everyone applying!
I know it is a super competitive program, but does anyone know the % of applicants that get in? SCH is my top choice and I'm really really hoping to get a spot!!

The recruiters name is (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). They don't accept rec letters in the application but they told me that if you are invited to interview you can provide letters at that time
