Hi everyone,
I am nursing student graduating in May 2018. I'm trying to decide where I want to move after graduation and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share any knowledge of pay at Seattle Children's as a new grad and what shift diff is? Thanks for your help!

Too easy to find the contracts in WA; most positions are union. Seattle Children's Hospital | Washington State Nurses Association The other union in state I believe is SEIU.
Also just be aware that some of the Seattle hospitals have limited free employee parking and that can cost more $$$$. I know that Swedish is very cramped for parking; when I interviewed there they told me that you had to be management or hired in the 90s to get a parking spot!! It's more than 10$ a day to park there.

I agreed that you need to factor in parking costs when in Seattle. It really does make a difference!
However, I think Seattle children's might offer free employee parking but it's off campus at an empty parking lot a few blocks down from the hospital. People Working night shift and the hospital "big shots" can park on campus.

Seattle Children's most definitely does NOT offer free parking. Nights, weekends, and holidays allow for employees to park on campus for around $3.50 per day. Normal M-F daytime hours, the cost depends on arrival time (going up to around $8.00 per day, I think). Driving alone - you park off-site and get shuttled in. Carpool/vanpool - you park on campus and split the parking fee between riders. Any alternate commute (bike, walk, bus, carpool, basically anything other than driving alone) earns a $4.50 commute bonus per day. They do offer a steeply discounted ORCA card for bus/Link commuting as well - about $130 per year.

I don't know what these other people are saying but Seattle Children's DOES offer free parking as far as I know at the river parking lot! I'm a volunteer there and even I'm able to park there. They also provide free shuttle services to and from many different locations like the UW Link Station.
The River parking lot is indeed free, but it's meant for patients, families, and visitors only (including volunteers). Staff cannot park there without risking disciplinary action up to and including termination.
