Seattle Children's New Grad October 2019

Published

Hi! Did anyone apply to Seattle Children's New Grad October cohort? Does anyone know when we'll hear back?

Hi, I applied but have sadly not heard back yet. I think I read somewhere that they usually send an email about 2 weeks before interview day. Fingers crossed that we both receive some positive emails soon! ?

I also applied! hope to hear soon, before flights get super pricey!!

I booked my flights already but will cancel everything if I don't receive an email soon ? Have you begun applying for a WA license already? I printed out the paperwork but am still afraid that it won't be processed and completed in time. Where else have y'all applied in Seattle if you don't mind me asking? ?

What units did you guys apply to?

The timeline of this application window closing just before the holiday might make the turnaround on interview notifications a little bit shorter...best of luck to all!

I've applied for so many jobs positions it's kind of a blur but I do know that I applied for the surgical unit and a rehabilitation unit ?

I didn't even think about that! Hopefully that's the case lol

I spoke to a recruiter and she said we should hear back at the beginning of next week and then after the interviews on the 18th then we should know within a few days if we got the position.

I transferred my license to WA back in Feb and it took about 2.5 weeks.

I can’t quite remember all the steps, but I think getting set up on Nursify was one of the first steps? I would recommend doing that sooner rather than later.
