I just got accepted into the program! I'm so relieved! I'm going to start out working full time if my schedule allows it, but I am commuting from out of town so that might be difficult. Luckily my job is awesome and will work with my schedule and will allow me to work as many hours as I want/need to.

I applied at 12:01 on April 1st. Received the acceptance email at 12:44 today.

I'm planning on working as well during the program. I will start out with part time and see if it's manageable to do full time. Do you guys work as CNAs? Home health aides?

I was working both CNA and home health but my old job ( an animal hospital) offered me a raise to come back. So I am working for them at the moment. I'm not sure about orientation, but check out this thread, this girl has lots of good info.

No I got nothing I applied at 12:45 due to their stupid "access code" that I needed to enter to submit my application. It specifically said I needed an access code to put in my credit card info. I thought it was so weird. I called the nursing department immediately once I encountered the issue but they never got back to me. I resolved it on my

own once I called the computer department. Took me 45 minutes to fix it all. It was extremely unfair. Anyone else encounter this? Seems so stupid to have missed my chance due to their own technical issues.

It would be nice that all those who did get in to write down the time that they submitted their application. Then we can make sort of a timeline.

I'm so sorry that happened to you:( I don't remember an access code, so I'm not sure what happened with that. I logged in right at 12 and officially submitted at 12:02p. Did you apply anywhere else? If so, good luck and if not I hope you can get in next year. dont give up hope just yet, they could still be sending out emails or maybe you got on the wait list. A lot of people drop out when they realize the expense and/or commitment. :)

I feel your frustration!

I logged in right at 12 and when I went to pay, it just froze, and then finally 5 minutes later it went through.

I have gone to several nursing orientations at central in the last 2 years, and each time they have said they always end up going through the wait list.

I'm optimistic about it, but still very nervous.

I'll let you know if I hear anything!

Did you get the email yesterday saying they are still processing applications?

A friend that applied with me got the email. I also heard that they go through the wait list quite a bit so in not too worried. I just wish I got an answer already so I know how to plan summer and fall quarter.

Omg slowest response ever! I still haven't heard anything back yet. Did anyone else? Somehow I doubt we will get a response back till the very END of June or maybe even beginning of July. :grumpy:
