  1. I gave up my spot in the SCC nursing program to attend a school in California. Hopefully, this makes someone very happy who was put on the waitlist. Best of luck to everyone!!
  2. I also wonder when the orientation will be...?
  3. I applied at 12:01 on April 1st. Received the acceptance email at 12:44 today. I'm planning on working as well during the program. I will start out with part time and see if it's manageable to do full time. Do you guys work as CNAs? Home health aides?
  4. I just received my acceptance letter in an email. Hopefully, there is more good news for everyone!
  5. Keep the Faith Raine!! You will get in if you keep applying and working towards your goal!
  6. I spoke with Kailey Calvert, the nursing coordinator and she said we will know end of May, early June. AHHH!! The waiting game continues! Good luck to everyone.
  7. Good to know! That's exciting about the transition to BSN (finally!!).
  8. I have not set up an email account through Seattle Central. Have you? If so, was it pretty simple to do? I'd definitely prefer to hear back via email since that's faster than snail mail.
  9. Hi Josh! I have not heard anything yet but I believe we should know by the end of the week. Do you remember seeing how they plan to inform candidates? Email? Letter?
  10. Thank you so much RNStdntSeattle! I will definitely keep you posted on whether I am accepted into the program. I believe last year's students were informed by May 9th, so I'm hoping they send out the letters this week. Do you remember if you were informed via your Seattle Central email account or a letter in the mail? I don't think I saw how we would be informed on the site.
  11. I got my ARC acceptance letter too!! Congrats Elisabeth and Szab! I can't wait to start school with you this fall! **If anyone is reading this who has not heard back yet or did not get in this quarter, I have been there. I've applied several times to a number of programs and was very frustrated and discouraged throughout the process. KEEP THE FAITH. You will get in too if you meet the lottery qualifications and keep applying. I truly believe this whole journey has made me stronger and prepared me for the ups and downs of not only nursing school, but the challenges that arise in hospital settings. Good luck everyone!!
  12. Any word from ARC today? I wasn't able to get on the eservices site this am.
  13. What is the typical cohort size for ARC and SCC?
  14. Thank you so much Kathy for the insight into the first semester schedule! I really appreciate it and I'm so glad to hear classes are going well (albeit, tough with exams) and that you are finding the professors to be great so far. I don't have any more questions at the moment, but when I do, I'll be sure to contact you for more info! Keep up the hard work!
