Searching for Fall 2013 Baker College Owosso applicants

Hello! I see so many posts on here of people from the same school connecting. I was hoping to do the same thing. I am looking for other students who applied for the Fall 2013 nursing program at Baker College in Owosso, Michigan. I took my Kaplan today and am beyond excited to hear if I got in or not. It would be nice to share experiences, get to know each other a little, and form a support group before classes even start.

Im so glad someone posted here! I took my kaplan yesterday at baker owosso. Ive beem obsessively checking and reading on this site to try to get an idea of the average scores that get it. I feel like I've already been waiting months to find out lol

Ha me too!!! I saw a conversation on here from last year. I didn't see a cut off but one girl had a 88.something and got in. This is going to be a long few weeks!!!!

Yea I saw that too!!!! I wish there was a list of cut off points throughout the years! Did you take all of your classes in Owosso?

Oh that's funny I did too, well more like half. It sucks because most people in Owosso seem to know each other already and I only know a few of them. Is this your first time applying?

If you go over to the MI boards, there are quite a few Baker students there. Click on U.S. at the top of the AN page, then select Michigan.

I saw on a thread from last fall at owosso the range was 84-95!

I just graduated from Baker in Owosso and unless they changed the Kaplan those scores seem high. As you will see once your in and are taking Kaplan tests all the time they generally are 60-70. As for the entrance Kaplan that was just one part of the scoring system, I wasn't very thrilled with my score of 67 but was told that was about average. I got in (obviously) on my first attempt. Yea the points for entrance was changed to 100 (I think it was 50 or something lower a few years ago) I scored 79 on Kaplan (average is 60-64 according to our proctor) but that only makes up like 30 of the 100 points. The rest come from grades and lack of transfer credits. I'm not sure why or when they changed it.

That sounds right. Our total points were out of 100 also but I couldn't tell you what my final total was to get in the program as I never found out. I only knew my Kaplan score but when I got in I think it was only worth a total of 10 points. They are constantly changing things though and I just finished earlier this month. Lol
