yes.. my father is seaman and his also a member of amosup. that is why i was given a chance to take the exam :)

I'm praying that I'll be selected to take the exam, because I didn't put the name of my Uncle who's an Amosup member and a Captain as well.

I'm hoping that they will recognize my resume and give me permission to take the qualifying exam.

hi there.. i take the qualifying exam in seamen's hospital last april after 1 week they released the names of all the lucky nurses who passed and im one of them. after that i call the nursing service office and ask for the next step after passing the exams they told me that they will call me as soon as there is opening for the job position. after a week i call again and they said that they will call me again for the psyche exam and for medical but until now i haven't receive any calls from them.. im a little worried now.. anyone here working in seamen's hospital who can help me in my problem here? thank you so much :)

we have same case.. i passed the initial exam last may 26, and now im still waiting for the call to take psyche exam.. sigh..

how i wish they give us a call at the end of the year..

And do you have relative also who's a member of amosup? And do I need to give them a ring for me to know if I'm qualified to take the exam? or do I need to wait for their further notice through text if I'm one of the lucky person who gonna take the exam? How long was the confirmation before you had your exam?

hi.. i call them every now and then to make follow ups but still there are no vacancies yet. im still waiting for their call.. it's been two months of waiting now and im still hoping.. well best of luck for both of us... hope we can make it. Godbless:)

Thanks Felicity! Well, I guess I may not be able to pass my application yet, not until the PRC releases the certificates of board passers of November 2009. That sucks but I guess I have to put in mind that there is a reason why they release it late, I guess to give chance to previous board passers (application purposes). I am a November 2009 board passer and yet I already have both the board rating and passing certificate. I applied for it when I registered last february. hope this helps..

Yes, I already got mine. I was mistaken in thinking the board certificate is the passing certificate, I didn't know that the two are different. Thanks for the info anyway! :)

i would like to know if there's a chance for me to get hired here or atleast be given the chance to try if I don't have any relative who's a member of amosup. :)
