SCVMC Summer/Fall 2023

Hi everyone, wanted to start a thread for the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) new grad nurse jobs that were posted in March/April 2023. Has anyone heard back regarding interviews or next steps? 

Hi y'all! Got a call about an hour ago to schedule a 2nd interview with PCU! ☺️ A friend of mine also got a call. So they are definitely making calls as well to schedule 2nd interviews. Have y'all heard anything from the ICU's besides TICU/SICU ?

Did anyone hear back from PCU for a job offer? I know that some people got an email for a second interview. I didn't get an invite for a second interview ☹️. Does this mean a rejection?

I'm not sure because if they haven't gotten back to you maybe they are still considering? I had my second interview today and definitely feel the least confident about PCU now. Compared to my second interviews with MICU and TICU I felt like the interviewers were the most difficult to read. I couldn't really gauge whether or not they were feeling me at all LOL.  They ask a total of 17 questions and you have 30 minutes to answer them. They also said that they typically look to hire around nine candidates give or take a few, and that they will have their decisions made by the end of the week. Interesting! Was the interview timed? What format was the interview? Was it a panel interview or is it like the first one where you are moving table to table?

They didn't time the individual questions, they give you 30 min total and there was 3 people asking me the questions. The questions were very similar to the first interview tbh. Good luck!

Congrats on completing the second Interviews! Did you guys find that the questions were mainly clinical scenario is? Those are the ones that are concerning me the most ? only hiring 9 people sounds a bit daunting also. I wonder how many people were Invited back for a second Interview...
