So to all the guys out there, and ladies with hairy chests (just kidding)...
Do you wear a t-shirt to cover up the chest hair or just let it hang out?
Ive heard wearing a T-shirt under the scrubs is a no-no..........
Just curious on everyone elses opinion?

Here in the colder climate it's rare to see someone without a t-shirt underneath or a scrub (warm-up) jacket over top.
I'm curious why it would be a no-no?

You know how the sleeves hang out, or how it hangs out the bottom of the scrub top..........Many say it looks unprofessional.

Although in South Florida the climate is usually hot and humid, almost all of my fellow nursing students wear a white t-shirt under our top (which is made of the same see-through materials as most cheap white scrubs).
But our sleeves never stick out and they are kept very neatly tucked in.
You never know when you'll be in a very cold area of the hospital.

Personally, I always wear a long sleeved t-shirt underneath my scrub top. I just get too cold without it- even in summer. I don't like scrub jacket...they just get in my way...I don't think that I look unprofessional at all...but a lot of people wear long sleeves under thier scrubs here so maybe it is just what I am used to.

Well, I'm all for comfort. Whatever is comfortable for you, IMO, is ok with me.
In winter time I get chilly, as our facility is old and heating system is not real good, so I wear a T-shirt underneath my scrub top. If it looks unprofessional, well then, too bad. I have to be comfortable. To heck with looks. I'm clean and neat, and I also intend to be either warm or cool as I like.

They would rather see chest hair coming out of the scrub top than see a T-shirt underneath? THAT would be more "professional"??
Gotta wonder about some people
