Scrubs that won't make me look like a blimp...

Hello all...sorry if this question has been posted before! I am 5'3, thin, and curvy. I'm an hourglass with a bubble butt, size 5. Not complaining mind you, but it feels like every set of scrubs I buy drapes over my chest and butt, making me look like a bloated pregnant tent.

Now, I'm not trying to be a sexpot at work (and clinicals soon), but I don't feel that I should have to look like I gained 15 lbs every time I slip on my uniform.

I just hate all of that extra hanging material.

Does anyone have any links for scrubs that are more form fitted and geared to someone with my body type? Ideally in CANADA? A U.S. site will do though if they have what I want.

I'm kinda small but with big boobs and I have the same problem where I look like a circus tent in most tops. Tops that tie in the back just seem to fit even more awkwardly than those with straight cuts. They make me look like a rectangle?

If I were you I would look at Barco scrubs. Their Grey's Anatomy line mock-wrap tops tend to skim the body. Some of their other tops are cut the same way. And their Elan lines come in really pretty prints in a material that's thinner and more breathable, so they drape a little bit better instead of sticking out 6" away from your stomach.

Well, lets get back to the original topic - thank you to so many posters who have posted some wonderful and ingenious ideas.

My dear ole Mom always said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything" and I think its appropriate here. We are talking about getting scrubs that fit different body types, not what's wrong with the body type!

I don't know if it would be worth it, but have you thought about maybe having them altered?

I'm petite. I have to get ALL of my scrubs altered. And I had to buy expensive brands to get ones that remotely fit me well. Dickies and Grey's Anatomy are the best brands for petites like me. In the end, it's going to be quite expensive. But hopefully they will last for many many years. I wish scrubs weren't made for big people. :(

I'm 5'4 and a slim but very curvy hourglass (34D) and I love, love, love the Wonderwink line, especially their "2-stretch" and "utility girl" scrubs. The tops with the toggles/drawstrings under the bust in particular are really flattering and very comfy. The pants also fit great- no falling down, binding, or underwear peeking out.

The first time I wore them to work, two different people asked me if I'd lost weight.
