Scrub pants vs thighs

I just bought my first sets of scrubs, and I'm worried about how the pants will fit. I'm of roughly average size - except for my thighs. I tend to carry extra weight there. If I remember correctly, I bought one pair from Dickies and one from Landau.

Also, what are decent brands for sturdy females? :penguin:

I preferred the Scrubs Company from california. They are well-made and last and last. I am not an average sized gal - I lead more toward the pleasingly plump especially below my waist. These scrubs fit well.

I like Uniform Advantage's own brand (they carry their own brand plus all the major name brands in their catalog/online). Landau & Dickies specifically tend to fit me a bit tight around the thighs, I think they're meant for the skinny girls who model them in the catalogs, lol. I like the way Cotton Scrubs brand fits me too.

UA carries a Landau (I think) pant that's "relaxed fit". More room in the appropriate areas!

Your username describes me to a T :D I guess I'll have to take my chances with the scrub pants :o I did order a size larger than I thought I'd need, just in case...

Thanks, everybody :)

lol... I've used "palesarah" as a screen name since college, when I needed to pick something that was easy to remember and would distinguish me from the multitude of other Sara(h)s... being so very, very fair, it worked ;) And it's easy to remember, lol.

With the Landau and Dickies brands, I've always ordered 1 size bigger too. Still a bit snug around my thighs, but that's me.

Thanks! I gave them each a kiss and said it was from you, lol. Bacon is the little brown & white one in the Santa suit, Twinkie is the bigger black one with the antlers (they HATED this, BTW!), they're both Chihuahuas and I love them to bits!

We had to wear Landau for school - I found them uncomfortable in the thigh area - I was so happy to never have to wear Landau anymore!!

i think its all about the particular style. i have the same problem and stay far far away from anything that says flair. just doesnt work.

i loooove urbane bootcut ones.

I don't like Landau either. They tend to wear thin in the crotch/thigh areas for me. I have a big bum and thigh areas. Cherokee seems to work best for me.
