I am starting this thread because the application for external candidates starts tomorrow, November 7th.

Congratulations idoeveryday!!! I honestly can't remember where in the application that it asked for departments. I dont think I selected any in fact. When did you apply by the way?

I applied late Monday the 7th... I'll definitely let you know! Hopefully you'll be there with me. Now I have to figure out how to get down there by 9am for my interview!

A very good idea! Easier said than done, but don't give up hope! :) No one knows how they are going through their applications.

I called HR on Tuesday and they told me to hury up and apply because they were already in the high 300s since they opened it up to external applicants on Monday. I didn't get my application in until about 5pm that day, but I too hope I made it before the 500 mark.

Hi, can you give me the number for HR? i want to check the status of my application. thanks!

I just called the main hospital and asked to be transferred to HR. I don't remember where I put the number, I'm sorry. You can also check the status of your application on their career site. Choose "search jobs" then scroll down to the very bottom and choose the link under the section "update your resume or check status"

Yes, a couple of people on this thread have posted that they have been called for an interview. Another person mentioned that the application count was in the high 300's by Tuesday. Scripps must have met 500 and started contacting qualified applicants for interviews.
