Scripps New Grad Residency October 2018

Published

Hey everyone! Wanted to start a post since there isn't one yet. I applied right when the applications open and my application still says "submission received".

This is my second time applying, I interviewed for the last cohort but was not selected.

Post any updates here! :)

They took a pic of you?! Not me either. Mine was also 15 mins but it felt much longer!

I thought my interview went well until I came home and realized it was only 15 minutes .... Also they took a picture of me. Did anyone else have their picture taken ?

I didn't have my picture taken... that's kind of funny that they did that!!!

I interviewed with Green as well and don't know how to feel lol. They told me they're interviewing close to 200 applicants and they will be choosing 30-40 new grads this year. I think the managers from La Jolla took pictures to better remember the candidates!

I also interviewed at Green! How did you feel like your interview went?

I'm also in the same boat as rand14. Parts of it I was really happy with and other parts I felt I could have done better. I really loved my panel though! It was the friendliest interview I've had thus far in this job search process. Green's interview was really long too. So many questions!

I agree, they were both very nice at Green! There were so many questions, so I guess that's why they were running late with interviews. My interview alone was at least 40 minutes!

Does everyone here already have their license?

Yes, I have my license already

They might have gone through all of the questions that we're in the packet. I noticed for the Chula Vista panel, they were starting to cross out a lot of questions. So I think I was only in the room for about 15-20 min.

I interviewed for Scripps DEU, La Jolla and it was about 20 mins long. Everyone on the panel was very nice and they asked for my picture afterwards. Good luck to everyone!

Hey guys!

My interview was for La Jolla DEU; so fast! I think I was in there for 20 minutes; didn't get a photo taken but there was one on my portfolio and I also didn't have any rapid fire questions--did anyone else for this unit? The one that surprised me was that the were hiring 12 out of 800 interviews (I'm sure she meant applicants but in my head I was like INTERVIEWS?! Haha.)

Good luck to all! We can breathe a bit!

Has anyone heard anything yet?

Nothing yet on my end.

Nothing for me either! I feel like we'll start hearing back next week since it'll be around the two week mark. The wait is the worst part!
